Animal rights / Enrichment
We hope that you will be convinced, as we are, that the vexing discomforture that is necessarily attendant upon a life in captivity can be eased by the introduction of authentic and appreciable music, something that is so highly valued by so many of our own species.
We hope to bring enrichment through music to an additional 2-3 species per year through the species-specific music project at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park. (See Musicforcats.com/institutions/Smithsonian) The interest and benefits from this music that will be developed for the captive animals at the National Zoo will immediately be available in perpetuity to all captives of that species at all institutions.
